Healesville Festival Announcement

After an incredible 2026 Healesville Festival, we're excited to share an important update about the future of the festival.

From 2028 onwards, the Healesville Festival will move to a biennial format, meaning we'll be taking a break in 2027 before returning better and ready to celebrate with you again in 2028.

As a completely volunteer-run, not-for-profit festival, we could never have imagined how quickly the festival would grow in just two short years. The overwhelming support from our community, visitors, local businesses, sponsors, artists, performers and volunteers has been truly incredible, and we're so grateful to everyone who has helped make the festival what it is today.

Moving to a biennial model will give our volunteer team the time we need to thoughtfully plan, secure funding, build partnerships and create the high-quality festival our beautiful town deserves. It also gives us the lead time needed to continue delivering the festival as a predominantly free event for our community.

We are incredibly proud of the event we've created together and humbled by the way our community has embraced it. Thank you to everyone who has attended, volunteered, cheered us on and supported the festival over the past two years. It has been especially rewarding to see the festival inspire others to create even more events in Healesville, helping our town continue to thrive as a vibrant destination for locals and visitors alike.
